MCA Notification INTEGRATED COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (ICET) - 2009 (A.P. COMBINED)

applications are invited for appearance at the integrated Common Entrance Test for admission into 1st year MBA/MCA Degree Course for the academic year 2009-2010 in the following universities and their affiliated colleges offering MBA/MCA Programme.

Eligibility:
The candidates seeking admission into MCA course should have passed Bachelor's Degree Examination of not less than 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level (OR) should have passed Bachelor's Degree Examination of not less than 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
 
Admission Procedure:
Prescribed application form for the Entrance Test together with instructions booklet can be obtained in person on payment of Rs.250/- in cash at:
 
  • All the Head Post Offices in Andhra Pradesh
  • All the Post Offices located on the University Campuses
  • The e-seva centres in Andhra Pradesh
 
Duly filled-in application forms (placed in the envelope supplied) may be submitted along with relevant documents by paying postal charges through the Head Post Office to The Convener, ICET- 2009, Andhra University College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam - 530 003 (A.P.) India on or before 28-03-2009 up to 5.00 pm. The application forms may also be submitted on or before 10-04-2009 upto 5.00 p.m. along with a late fee of Rs.500/- in the form of DD drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of ‘The Secretary, APSCHE’, payable at Hyderabad. Incomplete application forms and application forms received after the specified date and time will summarily be rejected.
 
Online Submission:
Application also can be submitted online. However, a copy of the application downloaded along with passport size photograph and D.D. for Rs.250/- drawn in favour of “The Secretary, APSCHE”, payable at Hyderabad is to be sent to the Convener, ICET -2009.
 
Test Centers:
The Convener reserves the right to add or delete any centre from the list and allot accordingly:
Anantapur, Bheemavaram, Guntur, Hyderabad, Kadapa, Kakinada, Karimanagar, Khammam, Kurnool, Mahaboobnagar, Nalgonda, Nellore, Nizamabad, Ongole, Rajahmundry, Srikakulam, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Warangal.
 
ICET Test Pattern:
The ICET test consists of 200 questions of 1 mark each. Duration of the Test is 2 ½ Hours (150 minutes). For Section A & B, the medium of the test is English and Telugu and for Section C, it is only English.
