Eligibility:
A graduate with a minimum of 60% marks in their qualifying degree examination may apply. Candidates appearing in their final degree examination and expecting to complete it by July 2009 may also apply subject to the condition that they obtain the 60% cumulative record after final examination and submit the provisional degree certificate or any other proof of the completion of degree certificate before 30th October 2009 to the Institute. The students must have at least two courses of Mathematics or Statistics in their undergraduate curriculum and must have completed at least one course on computer science. |

Selection Process:
Candidates for admission will be selected through an Entrance Test of the Institute. The test will be of one hour duration. The test will evaluate the candidates on their mathematical aptitude, logical reasoning, basic programming, English and general awareness of Information technology. Final merit list for admission will be prepared based on the performance of the Entrance Test only.
The admit card for the entrance test will be sent to the candidates by post by 15th of May 2009.
The result of the entrance test will be announced in the first week of June 2009. |

Entrance Test for M.Sc. (IT) will take place in three (3) centers: Hyderabad, Delhi, Gandhinagar |

Application Procedure:
Applications can either be submitted online or be downloaded and sent by post. Application processing fee for online submission is Rs. 800/- while for submission by post it is Rs. 1000/-. The application fee is to be paid through a Demand draft, drawn in favour of DA-IICT, payable at Ahmedabad , sent by post to the institute address. |
