CGL 2022-23

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam in order to select candidates to fill up Group B and C posts present in various ministries/ departments/ organizations in the Government of India. All candidates who have cleared their graduation from a recognized university fulfill SSC CGL eligibility criteria.
SSC has also revised the SSC CGL Exam Pattern & Selection Process, now there will be two tiers only for selecting eligible candidates for CGL vacancies. The candidates who have appeared for the SSC CGL 2022-23 Tier 1 Exam and are confident of qualifying for Tier 2 must begin their preparation as SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Date to be announced shortly..

SSC CGL 2022-23 Eligibility

In order to fulfill SSC CGL 2022-23 eligibility criteria candidates need to meet the parameters mentioned below :

• There are 4 important criteria that a candidate must fulfill in order to be eligible for the SSC CGL 2022-23. The 4 parameters are given below:

1. Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Age Limit (as on 01/01/2022): There are different sets of age limits for different posts in the SSC CGL Exam 2022, which are tabulated below:

Educational Qualification:

The educational qualifications varies according to the post for SSC CGL 2020 and is listed below:

Desirable Qualification: Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics
Junior Statistical Officer Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognised university or institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at class 12th level
OR
Bachelor’s degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level

SSC CGL 2022-23 Exam Pattern (Revised)

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has revised the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam pattern along with SSC CGL Notification 2022-23. The Examination will be conducted in 2 tiers as indicated below:

Penalty of Wrong Answer:

There is a negative marking of 0.50 Marks for each wrong answer. SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will be of qualifying nature and marks will not be counted in the final selection.
